Despite her talent for magic, Hjem is far more interested in practical sciences, preferring to study the flora and fauna of the Arcane ocean and the Starwood Strand. She enjoys naps in the sun, a nice cup of tea, and relaxing with a good biology encyclopedia.
Hjem often works with Ver or Styrka when magical artifacts need studying. Her ability attune herself to objects without activating them along with her grasp of the intricacies of such complex magics have made her a natural at working with such objects. She helps study and catalogue these artifacts that Pleiades houses, but beyond that participates in none of the other magical studies within the clan.
Hjem often works with Bregus either on biology or magic related matters. He is one of her closest friends along with Surana. She is often lethargic, slow to speak, and horribly sarcastic. She is currently in a relationship with Eldfjall, the status of which is unknown to anyone but them. If Hjem is aware of Eldfjall's many affairs, she doesn't seem to mind.
Hjem has remained in the Crystalspine Reaches to continue her research with Enkara and to continue studying the flora and fauna with Bregus. 		Forest Field Guide
