Myrkurin

Myrkurin had been born in Glacies under a mother who hadn't been recognized by the royal court. However, it seemed that even with his mother supposedly unrecognized due to the circumstances of her birth, Jubilee somehow knew Myrkurin was of the royal bloodline. Neither of them could quite put their finger on it, but they knew each other as kin at the very least.

Jubilee had watched Myrkurin from afar. The narcissistic queen wouldn't willingly accept the royal-blooded Veilspun not knowing which branch of the lineage he was from, but she coveted his grace and beauty. Such a beautiful and seemingly well-bred specimen was no doubt an asset to the kingdom, and if she could manipulate him to serve her, he would become part of her court that ruled over Glacies

Myrkurin knew more than he had let on, however. Even with Jubilee watching him and perhaps even helping him advance in his goals behind the scenes, Myrkurin knew that even with acceptance into the court he would only ever be a servant, never holding a seat of power. His mother may have been part of the royal line, but she was born to a commoner. The bloodline would always be sullied in Jubilee's eyes.

That was not good enough for him. No, even if his mother and grandmother were considered commoners, the bloodline of the royal family ran through his veins. He deserved to be recognized as one of the royals, to be more than a servant to Jubilee and her vassals. So, even after being assisted from the shadows by his great-great grandmother, Myrkurin left, putting as much distance between himself and the royal circus as he could. He eventually settled in a clan, that while not recognizing his status, was probably the best bet at allowing him to go further with his goals....
