Biography
[Origin] Despite hatching in the fridgid tundras of the Southern Snowfields, Solstice has always been a cheerful, peppy dragon. Perhaps because of her inherent breed tendencies, starting life as a spiral and all that. As a young hatchling she exhibited a strange knack for telling weather patterns and soon it became apparent to her entire clan that when little Solstice hid in their lair, a great storm was indeed coming for them. If Solstice was spiraling through the air in joy and being her regular self, the clan rested easy that the weather would be fair for the foreseeable future. Although many dragons have been accurate with weather predictions through various means, Solstice was the only dragon who seemed to be born with the ability. Growing up as a spiral in an ice clan was out of place for her and the tiny family she called her own at the time. Most ice dragons are nomadic and frigid in demeanor, where spirals are far friendlier. This made Solstice and her family an excellent go-between for other clans and she became well versed in other dragons and their habits. Her incredibly sweet and giving nature helped endear her to many potential foes and allies alike. Wanting very much to fit in with the rest of her ice clan, Solstice sought out as much of her heritage as possible but it was hardly enough. A spiral in an ice clan stuck out like a ridgeback in a water clan. After much deliberation and several hushed conversations with those she trusted, she set her sights on the one thing that would bring her heritage the respect it deserved - a scroll of changing. This quest brought her and her clan all around the Southern Icefields, searching high and low. It was during this quest that she met Cato, a skydancer from the Lightweaver's own working as an interpreter. Solstice and Cato became close friends in the short time they spent together, creating memories that would last and a scent that would surge up in Solstice once she found what she was looking for. It took her some time to finally locate the scroll and a magic user proficient enough to use it properly, but she at last reflected the glory of her home - the spiral Solstice had turned into the tundra Solstice. None of her pleasant self was lost during the change. Although she tended to have a shorter memory than before, she still had a memory to rival most other tundras. Buried in her memory was the smell of Cato, the skydancer who made such an impression on her in her search. When he found her again many years later, he asked her to join his new clan as their weather reader on their journey through Sornieth. Thrilled at the chance and sporting a new look that would never let her forget where she came from, Solstice took Cato's offer. Already set up for living in a nomadic clan, there wasn't much for her to adapt to. Her forecast skills impressed the dragons in her new clan and she enjoyed their awe at it, as her last clan had grown somewhat accustomed to it and it had lost its edge. Solstice has every right to be incredibly proud of her abilities as to this day she has never been wrong about bad weather and is trusted entirely by every dragon in her clan. Sometimes the fame gets to her head, but the other dragons mostly ignore her prideful moments in favor of her usual demeanor. When not busy, Solstice spends time preening and priming her appearance somewhat obsessively. Although she is the nicest looking dragon in the clan by personal vote, she is also the most likely to spend several hours preening before a simple outing. Being dirty is just not an option. Cloud gazing brings a flair for the romantic and creative out of her, and she loves laughing with her friends. Unlike many ice dragons, she is warm and welcoming to strangers and always greets them with a bubbly gush of sweet words. Dragons do not go hungry or upset in her presence and she makes sure that she does everything she can do for them.

"Hygenic"
Sol spends a significant amount of her leisure time preening her luxurious white coat. "Kindhearted" Negative comments rarely touch the tip of her tongue. She usually always has at least one nice constructive comment for anyone that she works with or comes into contact with. "Prideful" Her natural abilities can sometimes get to her head, and she can be caught boasting about her accomplishments. "Gifted" She is inherently able to forecast the weather accurately. Some dragons even believe its the other way around and that her mood actually has an effect on the weather.
