Biography

Sourberry was not born into Seranus' clan, but quite literally became tangled up in it quickly. Set off on her own as a traveling bard, she soon discovered how dangerous the Glademother's woods can truly be for a lone Fae dragon. One such occasion of fleeing from danger, Sourberry found herself and her lute completely entangled in colorful strips of fabric carelessly tied and hung from scattered branches. As she struggled to free herself, heavy claws soon grasped her delicate wings, plucking the lute from her grasp. Hanging upside down, babbling and bargaining with the monstrous fate awaiting her, she was given pause when a deep but kind chuckle reached her ears.

"Can you play this thing, little one?" came a rumbling voice from all around her as she felt the cloths loosen and pull away from her body.

Blinking away her tears of fear, she stared down into the eyes of a massive, bright yellow guardian adorned with vibrant orange flowers, and stripes of paint decorating his hide and wings. He spoke with a slight drawl, each word and phrase merrily tumbling out of his lopsided grinning maw.

"Mighty sorry you got trapped in our decor, doll. Come, sit a spill with the clan and rest up. We've plenty of insects if you've got a song for us!"

Sourberry gingerly took her lute back from his outstretched claws, shook herself off to calm her nerves, and grinned wide. Twanging a few strings, she fluttered around the guardian's head and neck jovially as he led her toward the distant sounds of jingling bells and errant laughter.
