Unlike the rest of her siblings, Rukham was the only one to have been born plain. That is, in coloration: only inheriting shades of greys, whites and blacks, all the way down to her icy white eyes, comparative to a blank canvas with spirals of jet ink. Her parents jested her siblings took all of the colour with them before she emerged from her egg. Ironic, given her constant, earnest nature. Perhaps it is because of this difference that led to her leaving the nest first after becoming completely disinterested with the rigours and stress of training to fight for the whims of bygone celestials. As Rukham, named by those at her new and now present home, instead found comfort in the lush greens of Dradevows rather than the cold and frigid north. For one that lived in a place of stagnance, the Gardens full explosions of sights, smells, and colours drew her in like a moth to a flame. Finally, a place that her mundane pelt stand out like a thicket of thorns. Sprawling vines of umber foiled against the rich greens and vibrant flora and fauna. There is not much she isn't interested in, especially but not least: astrology, just like the rest of her extended family; the studies of runology and archaic carvings, much like what she was lectured during her initiation; and an avid fascination for exploration in all forms. A neverending stream of curiosity encompasses her interest, taking splendor at the present moment to bask in it's radiance; and charting wherever she resides till she knows all of its nooks and crannies like the back of her claw. | // |
