Biography
They were sitting at a table. It's been years since they've last met, but it still feels all too familiar. Or...atleast to Arabella.
"It's been a while, hasn't it?" Toska looked up to her, smiling. But she knows there's something off about that smile. "...yes," Arabella mumbled. "it has." Toska craned their neck at her, studying their sister. "Not the talkative type, huh?" They asked. "That's fine with me."
They sat in silence, but Arabella knew that Toska was staring at her the whole time. "So," Arabella finally let out. "Any...news about father?" Toska's expression changed slightly; There was something else in their eyes that Arabella couldn't quite put her finger on. "We don't talk about father anymore." Toska whispered.
Arabella bristled. Her patience had finally snapped. "Well, why not?" She said, a bit too forcefully. "It's just a simple question, isn't it?"
Toska slammed her hand down on the table. "Our father was a fool." Her voice ricocheted off the walls, echoing across the banquet corridors. Arabella's shoulders went limp, taken aback. Toska lifted their gaze up to Arabella. "Do you know why our father didn't want us to know about..." Toska hesitated, considering their words for a few moments.
"Do you know why he didn't want us to know about his sisters?"
"...why?"
Toska's lips drew back in a frown. "Out of cowardice." They snarled. "He was doing it out of fear. He thought he could get away with it, huh?" Suddenly, Toska barked out a bitter laugh. "No, no...he was all wrong! How stupid of him! How stupid!"[/center]
