Moho is a genus of extinct birds in the Hawaiian bird family, Mohoidae, that were endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. Members of the genus are known as ʻōʻō in the Hawaiian language. Their plumage was generally striking glossy black; some species had yellowish axillary tufts and other black outer feather

Bishop's ʻōʻō
The Bishop's ‘ō‘ō or Molokai ‘ō‘ō was the penultimate member of the extinct genus of the ‘ō‘ōs within the extinct family Mohoidae. It was previously regarded as member of the Australo-Pacific honeyeaters. Lionel Walter Rothschild named it after Charles Reed Bishop, the founder of the Bishop Museum

Kauaʻi ʻōʻō
The Kauaʻi ʻōʻō or ʻōʻōʻāʻā was the last member of the ʻōʻō genus within the Mohoidae family of birds from the islands of Hawaiʻi. The entire family is now extinct. It was previously regarded as a member of the Australo-Pacific honeyeaters. The bird was endemic to the island of Kauaʻi. The final female of the species is suspected to have died during Hurricane Iwa in 1982.

today i learned two things: that its spelled chamomile and what a moho is :'D u nailed the bird look with the banescale vibe and wraith matches so well for the yellow splotches on the birdy! i think it's so cool that u have fandragons of extinct animals bc tbh it's super educational and interesting to read thru their bios! also love how u chose wraith over plumage, a different but really nice take that brings together the whole bird like aspect for me <33
