Biography
Beautification
foremost connoisseur of scents and beauty, Wister has the most sensitive nose in the Clan. He makes incenses, perfumes, candles, soaps, and other scented items. Sometimes he overwhelms himself with smells in his workshop and has to let all the smells out. The Sanctuary smells really nice for a few days every time he does that.
In the Astrolab, perfumes were part of polite society. With so many dragons in such a small space, unsavory smells could get overwhelming, so using mild or sweet scents to cover one's own stink after a week with not enough water ration for bathing was common. Now back on Sornieth, Wister sells to wizards for potions, high society clientele for vanity, and has expanded his repertoire to real soaps and cleansers for the rest of his customers.
A rather stuffy and formal dragon, but he's rather kind and has a lot of fun helping customers pick out their favorite smells or the right product for their scales, skin, and fur. He has also started practicing barbers' skills, like cutting fur, cleaning feathers, trimming claws, and scale-scraping (to get the dead scales off). He's only done a few customers so far, though, because he's a beginner barber. His salon is a favorite hangout of his new friend Pearlescent, though, and they can talk beauty for hours together.
His dream is to have a full-fledged full-service spa and beauty boutique in the Sanctuary that services all species. A lofty dream, but he's getting there!
