B I O G R A P H Y As the moon rises, all comes to a close. ______ From what Praxidike could remember, she has been with the Moon since the Beginning. They had many joys and many sorrows, just like the waxes and wanes of the globe in the sky. But no matter what, they had always stayed together. Praxidike and Stellae are like two sides of a coin. (Though, moon would have been a better word in this case.) Praxidike is always cheerful and energetic, willing to help out on the Surface at any time. Stellae is more reserved, bearing the reputation of a Celestial Deity. He is often hiding in the shadows, a flexible figure. It has been a long time since he had come down to the Surface. Every night, after a long day in the Sun, Praxidike sits on the lush green hill, looking at the Moon, at her mate. She wonders when he will come back to her. When he will embrace her again, remind her of the good times to come. She wonders when he will love her again. ______ Maybe if I write some more letters to him, he'll respond! Perhaps we could arrange a time for him to take a break off of his celestial duties, make some space for the Balance. Maybe throw a party for him! I bet he would be happy. Would he? What kind of tea would he like? Moonflower? Honeysuckle? Jasmine? Would he even remember? It's been 300 years! What if his tastes have changed? What if he likes sweet pastries now? That sweet tooth of his certainly hasn't been gone after all this time. Fudge-drizzled danishes sound like a good idea. Maybe he would appreciate life on the Surface a bit better. Speaking of the Surface, the Tower hasn't been tended to in a long time! I need to clear the cobwebs off the bookshelf, clean the altar, maybe do some decorating work... ...What's this? A note? ......I'm so so sorry for you, my dear. ______ Astrology has always been big in the Empire. And strangely, quite accurate. Dragons have found themselves mystified by the signs of the stars, of the movements in the sky that predict their fate. Praxidike was one of these dragons. Even as a Celestial being, Praxidike has always loved astrology. She enjoyed going to the psychics and asking them to read her star signs, and watching them make confused faces as they try to figure out what's wrong. Today was different. She walked into a dimly lit room, decorated with garish draping and ornate jewels. A hooded, rather short Imperial sat behind a desk, scribbling away on a notebook. He hears the scuffle, and looks up. "Mistress Praxidike." Praxidike scowls. She always hated that title. "Today is quite a good day, correct? I have seen that many have been blessed with good fortune and abundant sources of food, with numerous feasts around the Empire. May I ask, is it one of the Celestial Deities' day of Creation? If so, maybe you should-" "I want you to read my star signs." "Huh-oh! Oh-Okay. One second, let me get my equipment, sneaky little b*stards she is..." Praxidike watches as Rikuto fumbles for his Reader, and places her left talon out for him to Read. He mumbles, a bit sarcastically, "I see that you know the process already, Mistress. Allow me to take a closer look..." As time flies, Praxidike watches the disbelieving expression on his face as he watches the Reader form the result. She herself cannot truly believe something happened. "What a surprise! It seems that I certainly have gotten a reading, and a very pleasant one at that. It says..." "That you will be reunited with the one you love most."

NOTES:

- Reading is the most common way of astrology in the Empire, and also the most accurate. The process begins with a Reader, which is placed on the customer's talon. The Reader will then gain access to the customer's star signs and the close future, which will be transmitted to the psychic. Don't ask me how the Reader does that, idk.
- Celestial Deities or beings, such as Gust or Praxidike, cannot have their star signs be read, possibly because they are their own star sign.
- an exception to this rule is Neuvillette, who is a primordial dragon and cannot have his sign read. If you try to read it, your mind literally overheats and you end up with a melted body (This is also because Neuvillette is his constellation !! You would have to read his false constellation HAHA !! IM sorta accurate to genshin lore !! )
- you can only read Praxidike's star sign on a full moon tho, as she represents the full moon and it happened to be a full moon that day
