Biography

Snowcap was a loner for most of his life, and wasn't going to join Lavender Clan. Until he met Lavender. She convinced him to join the Clan. They slowly started to fall for eachother, but he was determined to focus on his job as head Guardian. One night while out on a fly together, Lavender asked him to be her mate. He couldn't say no. He couldn't push away his love any longer. A few days later, Lavender told him they had three eggs. He was shocked and scared, and started spending even more time out of the lair, hunting and training.

A few days later, he decided to go visit Lavender and the eggs in the hatchery. When he walked in, he saw Lavender curled around the eggs, sleeping, with Dusk laying beside her. Immediately assuming she had left him for Dusk, who she had always been close to. He stormed away angrily without either of them seeing he had ever been there. When he heard the eggs were starting to hatch, he decided he should be there. Almost the whole clan was there to watch the clans first eggs hatch. Snowcap couldn't help but notice that Lavender and Dusk stood very close to each other, which made his blood boil. When the eggs hatched, there were two skydancers, like him, and one tundra, like Lavender, and they were all boys. The tundra immediately seemed drawn to Dusk, which angered him. Why should his own hatchling to be drawn to another dragon besides him? He was his father after all. He also noticed that his fur and wings were a dark blue, just like Dusks. Throughout the next few days, every time he saw the little hatchling, who Lavender had named Arourious, he saw Dusk. This put him in a constant bad mood.

One day, Lavender and Dusk were playing with the hatchlings in the nursery when Snowcap entered. He saw Dusk and snapped. He yelled about how he was clearly trying to be his hatchlings' father and replace him. He stormed away, and Lavender followed him, agast. She tried to comfort him and ask what was wrong, and he blew up at her, saying she clearly was trying to replace him with Dusk as his mate. She angrily told him that Dusk was just her friend, and that he was only trying to help her with things Snowcap wasn't there to do. If he wanted to be a father and mate, he should be there when they needed him. Although he knew she was right, he didn't want to admit he was wrong. He told her to stop talking to Dusk and to keep him away from his hatchlings, or they were over. She calmly said, "I guess we're done then." and went back to the nursery with Dusk and her hatchlings.

In a blind rage, Snowcap flew away from the lair, roaring angrily and destroying things. He stayed out in the wilderness for a while, trying to decide what to do.

Snowcap flew from his clan in the Churnscar Wharf enraged, planning on heading to the Driftwood Drag to train. As he flew over the water domain he once called home the sky darkened and the wind picked up and soon thunder started echoing over the water. He watched as a bolt of lightning struck a large imperial, but he couldn't turn back now he was to far out over the water. He just had to keep going, keep flying. However the wind kept growing stronger and stronger every passing minute. It was pouring now, the rain coming down in sheets. Snowcap's wings were soaked, and the wind made it near impossible for him to fly. Minute after minute he became more exhausted. At that point the rain was coming down at a rate where snowcap could barely see in front of him. Snowcap didn't know how long he had been flying for, let alone if he was flying in the right direction, at this point he just wanted a place to land. His eyelids felt heavy, his wings were burning, and his legs were cold and numb. Shurley he could shut his eyes... even just for a moment.
