Built into a core of his limbs, but burned up quite regularly. He usually switches between various gems, not just soul rubies, but unmarked rough rubies direct from the source in the ground usually last the best for him.

Pros: He willingly replaced some body parts with a metal shell, so travelling around space as much as he did? Helps as both protection as well as endurance and energy conservation. Physical energy that is.

Cons: He says he made sure nothing went wrong and its all fine and built correctly. There might be a screw loose near his head though. Only one, but still.

History

Sol Eclipse is a child from the stars! Hatched during the formation of a star to parents who were in the process of discovering a new planet to add to the solar system, he was destined for greatness. From a very young age he became independent, took a ship, and cruised among space to find lost treasures, other Aether stations and more life forms out there! He's battled space pirates, rescued ships, had quite the adventerous love life as well, he's the definition of a space hero...

... At least that's what he tells everyone. It is debatable if his name is even his real one for that matter-

But no one can proof where he actually came from otherwise, and when you see the quite... unique features he has compared to other Aether's you do believe the space stories. Eclipse actually claims it allows him to read the thoughts of others. He has never been right about said thoughts.

He believes in his own stories for sure though. But it wouldnt be the first time he made something up out of thin air and then fully believed it was real himself.

What the Horizon's Kin do know for sure is that their first contact was a loud rumbling during the middle of the day when he crashed into their den's roof outside. He had to be dragged down from there with the only indication he hadn't found the end of his story up there through his companion Friedrich trying to shake him back awake with some success.

Thankfully, a young Cloudy Shade was around to help during his stay, even if she was still in training to become an engineer, it was better than having no one with any mechanical knowledge around to stop the glitching limbs from freaking everyone out. And while Shade provided the metal, Rare Dreamer provided the fuel.

Sol Eclipse was thankful to them both and once not on the edge of exhaustion and pain, became a quite active talker. There wasn't a day where he stopped filling the silence. Or night. Turns out he barely needs to sleep! In totally seperate news, the door project pushed by Swift Night for better noise dampening and privacy was sped up! What a coincidence.

Dreamer found quite the enjoyment in talking with him though, and so did he with her! It was pleasent to have such a friendly, and quite pretty, aether here to greet and help him out. It only seemed natural to give dating a try! After all, she even convinced Sun to let him stay around as long as he helped!

He doesnt quite get why Swift Night throws weird looks his way however. Until he learned about the former couple thing. Strange but, if they continued to live together it couldn't be too bad between them.

Eclipse would shrug it off for the most part, and use his current time with the Kin to continue his adventures! This time down on Opica since, after his mysterious crash, he doesn't quite feel like flying around and back up into space that quickly again.
