Biography
______________________________________________________________________________________
"no one ever expects me."
______________________________________________________________________________________
thin claws catch in the cracks of the stone walls—similar to the diseased rats that often make their way into the caverns for shelter against the elements, Caliban clings to the ceiling. brittle wings furled to his sides, his head twists unnaturally, like the owls in the far south, and watches the dragons that pass below him.
often perceived as a mild nuisance or horrifying in the worst case scenario, due to his tendency to watch any who garner his attention with wide, unblinking eyes and his ghoulish mouth turned up in a grin, he is anything but.
he is a sufferer of hemophilia, a rare disease, especially in the lands of the Plaguebringer, that causes his blood to clot less. in a land filled with savagery and the constant struggle to survive, most dragons would succumb to it, but Caliban triumphed. underestimated due to his small size, Caliban snacks on the wildlife that retreats into the caves as natural pest control, but little is known of his past before the Barren.
exhaustion gets the better of him when he isn't careful, and it is common to see him hitching a ride on the back of a larger dragon when away from the caverns. or curled around a clanmate's neck like a fuzzy scarf.
