Biography
When the Astrolab crashed, a crew of roughly five Aethers emerged looking for a sixth Aether. The sixth was not part of their crew, but a genetic experiment the five Aethers had worked on extensively. They were interested in seeing if it were possible to recreate other ancient dragons from Soreneith in the Astrolab, far above and with very little genetic material to speak of. Some leftover Banescale genes from centuries before were used in the creation of 6 specimens.
Unfortunately, the first five specimens failed to thrive past their birth. After the death of the fifth specimen, Merlin offered an unhatched Aether egg found in a storage room she had been rifling through for papers, and asked to use it in order to cultivate the Banescale genes. They were a little hesitant to use an Aether egg considering the risk presented with actively fusing different breeds, but were willing to give a it a try anyways just to see what would happen. The egg was injected with the genes and the crew waited.
And then, after a surprising amount of time waiting, the egg hatched, bearing an Aether hatchling with sharper, much more carnivorous and sleek features than a normal hatchling. The crew had expected this, they had expected an Aether born with that much evident of their Banescale heritage. What they hadn't expected was for how this odd little Aether would cause havoc for them, absolutely becoming a menace to any pets/familiars on board with its need for meat, and running off as soon as the crash of the Astrolab occurred.
This little Aether was appropriately named Tandemonium.
hey so this lore is old and i think i might breedchange him to this. because i'm losing it.
