Lunette

Lunette Leaflutter, an Aether who's trying to find alternative food sources to paper in light of both the initial exile of her species and how, in Arcane and Light specifically, books and scrolls are so important to the culture and the destruction of which horrifies the populace. Lunette grew up in a very, very small clan in the most obscure corner of the Worldedge Wetlands, a poor community where books and scrolls were a treasure and as such any paper she ate was more scribblings and scrap paper and she had to find her own ways of satisfying her hunger. As a Nature dragon, she's able to analyze which plants best resemble the taste and texture of paper, and is currently trying to selectively breed said plants to make the food source more sustainable. She's since moved to the Morning Roses' for both the Light Flight's insight on the importance of literature, and the clan's famous gardens. It's not that she herself doesn't sometimes feel herself drool around parchment, but she's staying strong in the face of her cravings. That said, she is quick to get upset whenever she does cave, or when an experiment or project goes wrong, or when someone buys a plant that she's had her eyes on before her, or other such situations. She's a bit easy to fluster in general, really.
She also loves studying about the stars, trying to connect with her Arcane heritage, but it also fills her with a sense of nostalgia as she and her childhood friends in the swamp would look at the stars from the tops of trees and try to find constellations. Something about the night sky and the full moon...they make her feel alive...
She's since fallen for Brightkin, initially someone she was aiming to help with her research, to which he greatly appreciated her kindness and in-depth knowledge of botany and found her own specific eccentricities inspiring for his writing, and while at first she was frustrated that he kept eating his own work which she found so good whenever he got it done, he was still a charming and amusing fellow in his own right.
