Null

The horrors that this survivor has endured are unimaginable. Forced into a life of servitude and sexual abuse at the hands of perverted and deranged cultists, she was stripped of her autonomy ironically in the very name of defending it. A freedom which came at the price of conformity even for the sake of a greater good was no freedom at all just another kind of enslavement. But they'd already done their worst, in order to make all Dragons equal they'd brutally mutilated the sexual organs of hatchlings, leaving her unable to bear children or experience the joys of motherhood.

This physical and emotional trauma would have broken most people, but not her. She emerged from the ashes of her past, fueled by a burning desire for vengeance and justice. She became a hunter, tracking down any members of the cult she could find and putting them out of their misery, sparing them from inflicting the same pain on others.

Her mission is not just to seek revenge, but also to protect innocent victims from falling prey to the same fate as her. She is a warrior, a survivor, and a hero, fighting against the darkness and evil that masquerade and a new kind of goodness and light and their so called 'freedom' from the religeous conformity of the old ways while merely creating a new religion worse than the first. Though her scars may never fully heal, she finds solace in knowing that she is using her pain to make a difference in the world and prevent others from suffering the same fate. Her journey is one of resilience, strength, and ultimately, triumph.

We did not call our leaders priests, that was the old way, the dead way.
"We have no leaders" Cal would say, in his dream like fashion bleary eyed and gazing far into the middle distance as if he saw nothing in the present here and now and instead dwelt in some perpetual but unobtainable perfect future where he was still the loving father his mate desired if he'd ever been that to begin with. Null could not call Cal father and even if she could she would not want to. He'd been more than will to trade his daughter for merely the chance, the empty promise of happiness. Of poweres, power and fame among his peers nothing done had been for anyone but himself.
Which was why even as one of their mindless drones he was useless. Null however was another matter. All children who had been reborn were simply named Null a name without meaning.

Gere were no leaders, and yet it was clear some dragons words carried far greater sway than others. Not because they were more noble but because it had already been decided and all had agreed in secret which voices would be loudest to overrule any disagreement. And such disagreeable t'roublemakers' would be noted carefully. If they could not be converted to the new normal then they must be destroyed.

"In the dream you were fallen but no more you are one of the awaken now, you see the truth of what is right and what is good and the old ways of the ancestors were not just wrong but evil."
Null had never known the old way did not understand why the older dragons hated it so much she only knew she hated this way, their way, but could say nothing.
She said the words they'd given her but found they meant nothing to her, "I'm beautiful. I'm wonderful. A monolith of intelligence. The old ways of virtue were wrong, this is true purity." So why don't I feel.powerful, she wondered. "They understand I'm better now, our way is better." All nodded along and some wept though she knew not why then or even that the blood on the floor had been her own.


"I need something more my legacy insecure I don't care who you are, controlling you makes me better. I cant exist unless I'm better, I need you to justify my existence and controllling you will make me stronger."

"They memorized and htpnotized the simple minded with their propoganda and had the nerve to tellus we were the ones being deceived for believing and seeking a greater good and purpose beyond that which had been thrust upon us at birth without our choosing. They made us fight their holy war for them and for what, what did we ever get out of it. To be called cowards for our disobedience that's what but now the old ones are dead and we're free. Free to start anew."
