Biography
These mates were quietly sent by their family group to keep an eye on the trouble-making pair, Quark and Neutrino. They lurk at the very edges of the nameless clan and take turns watching the mated couple to assure their elders that the youngsters aren't holding any more experiments that affect innocent dragons of the world around them.
When Astra woke from their passage across the sea, she blinked and looked up to the large guardian before them, his long green beard flecked and streaked with grey. Slowly he leaned his head down, sniffing both her mate and herself, a soft chuckle emanating from his deep chest, his long teeth gleaming in the sun as he threw back his head and laughed. A smaller guardian stood behind him, her slightly softer features gazing upon the two little tricksters with a motherly eye. Both dragons resembled moving trees, their brown skin cragged like the bark on the trees around them.
"Welcome little ones, to the Shadowbrook Clan, behave yourselves and you'll do fine" the male grumbled, shaking his head as if to remove the rest of the laughter from his system, "I am Cernunnos, and this is my mate Sakura, she will guide you about." Without so much of a goodbye the large patriarch turned and made his way towards the young hatchlings nearby.
"Welcome newcomers, I am Sakura, you have arrived just in time for the Riot of Rot!" Sakura's voice was warm and soft, much akin to a mothers embrace. The matriarch gestured behind her and turns as well, leading them towards a group of other dragons, many lounging about in the warm afternoon sun. "These are the other wanderers of our clan, the come and go, telling us stories of the lands beyond. Eventually the urge to travel takes and when they are ready, take flight and leave. Should you chose to stay little ones then we can find you a place amongst the others," she finished, her head now level with the two much smaller aether's.
This place may not be home permanently, but for a while they could rest and recover, taking their shenanigans onwards.
