Biography

^Moodboard by Thistill^

No one in the clan really knew Devon.
And he liked to keep it that way.
He worked much better without interruptions from some curious hatchlings sneaking into his lab on a dare.
After all, there were so many potions and poisons in his lab that could get you killed if not handled properly.
And he really couldn't afford any more accidents.
The clan leaders had already warned him on more than one occasion that if another happened, he would have to leave.
And Devon didn't want to.
It was rather quiet and pleasant there, in the Wispwillow Grove, and he didn't know where else he could find such peace.
He wasn't bothered by some of the dragons.
They weren't so bad.
Sometimes.
What did it matter to them that he was renowned potions master?
Or that dragons with various illnesses came to him for one last chance?
He accepted patients from all over the world.
Even those hailing from the Lightweaver's domain.
Devon was never one to leave someone untreated, after all.
And Shadowbinder knows what the Plaguebringer cooked up in the Wyrmwound.
There were so many of them
So many affected by the various strains of viruses and disease and who knew what else.
And so he worked.
Tirelessly, in fact.
He never had the time for a proper family, and he couldn't even keep track of his own mates.
And one by one they left him.
Devon didn't mind.
It left so much more time for him to work, anyways.
