Ophiuchus's frantic rambling about the world ending prompted Shade to exile him to the Starfall Isles until he could find proof that the world was actually ending. That proof came in the form of Strawberry, whose egg was salvaged from the wreckage of the Astrolab. Now convinced that the world wasn't going to end, Ophiuchus returned with a newborn aether. Shade felt too bad to turn him away again, so she welcomed him and the aether, now named Strawberry, back into the clan. Strawberry's appetite for paper was discovered soon thereafter, so she is constantly sent on missions for Shade's clan, if only to preserve their archives. Strawberry isn't a fan of these missions, but her attachment to Ophiuchus is what keeps her from leaving the clan completely.
