A silent flutter of small wings on the breeze
They come to rest on a lone hill
They cannot help but stop and look at celestial heavens.
Now ethereal is just the thing,
To get them wondering if stars are eternal.

Maps. Maps and drawings litter nearly every surface in constellation spot of the underground observatory. Maps marking out the different positions of the starts for every month of the year (she is working on narrowing it down to the weekly positions). Scattered among the maps is sketches of the various constellations in the sky, both of the basic lines connecting the stars in a certain constellation, and more stylized sketches, bringing life to what the constellation is meant to depict. With all these papers around, it is no wonder that Vida's talons are stained with ink. The only wonder is whether she looks away from the stars, down at her talons enough to notice.
