Their friendship started by spilling paint and fruit everywhere. 150% would still do it today. Squeezie and Jax are always there to support one another. And they sweep the Clan when it comes to duo pie eating contests.

THUNDERWOLFE..... mentor

As a hatchling, Jax watched Thunderwolfe carve into the lorestone and soon became inspired to try out his own art. Thunderwolfe agreed to teach him, but they both soon found out that Jax's specialty was not carving (his claws were too delicate). Thunderwolfe had an idea and gave Jax his first paintbrush... and the rest is history.

THALLAS..... "dad"

Some may say that Thallas and his husband Delyth have practically adopted Jax. And this could be true if Jax wasn't already "a fine, young man" (as Thallas puts it). They allow Jax to stay with them and are all-around supportive dragons. Jax is a bit closer to Thallas than he is Delyth, but not by much. Other than a father figure, Thallas has taught Jax about the wonders of plants... and tea.

EMERIA..... companion

Jax rescued Emeria from a tangled thornbush when he was out foraging for berries to make paints. The two have been together ever since. Emeria rides along on top of Jax's antlers. She's very helpful when it comes to finding the right paintbrush or changing water. She also makes excellent iced tea.

  • Jax's drink of choice is iced tea. Any will do, though he has a preference towards sweet or fruity, like hibiscus or peach.

  • Jax doesn't share his origin story, so no one knows it. Not even the writers. All he will tell is that "he rolled down a hill one day and here he is."

  • Jax's favorite foods are sandwiches and fruit salad, just as long as there aren't any raisins.

  • Jax's favorite things to paint are sunsets and mountains. He'll also paint Emeria from time to time.

  • Though he and Squeezie are best friends (some may even say more than that), Jax has no interest in a romantic relationship right now. He still has romantic feelings towards others, but doesn't want to start anything.
