The Empire rose from the shadows of Wispwillow Grove. Some centuries ago, a clan of veilspun departed from the depths of the forest and made their way into the Light.

Now, cast in the shadows of ruins, the Empire has reigned for a thousand years within their marble tunnels. Their denizens thrive within the gilded palace, as veilspun clans prefer. And the children of the Empire peer out over the sea and Lanternlea Port through stained-glass windows—some with a growing curiosity about the world beyond their walls.
