Lazuli

Lazuli had never known many comforts of family. His parents both chose to exalt soon after his hatching, leaving him and his siblings to fend for themselves within the rolling plains of the Sunbeam Ruins. The quartet scraped by using their inborn nature to "borrow," hiding their spoils deep under the earth in a subterranean lair.

Not long after properly maturing, Lazuli made the wise decision of attempting to borrow from infamous alchemist Baldwin, who promptly caught him. Unfettered, Lazuli decided to weasel his way out of the situation by proclaiming a desire to become one of Baldwin's many apprentices. Though he was not expecting himself to find any joy in alchemy, he quickly found himself to be rather skilled, easily catching on to Baldwin's teachings and becoming something of a star pupil.

Eventually, he came across a growing clan, and having not seen his siblings in some time, decided to try his luck at joining up with this group of dragons. Somewhat surprisingly, in his eyes, they were happy to have him, and were even happier when he espoused his talent in alchemy. Day after day, he finds himself pondering over a bubbling cauldron, sorting through formula after formula to determine what to brew. Even if that Obelisk hates when he borrows her plants.



Personality: Lazuli is a rather laid-back and carefree dragon, preferring to go with whatever life gives him rather than stress over what can't be changed. This lax personality betrays a sharp wit, one that produces brilliant alchemical formulas and fills tomes with knowledge. As with many Ridgebacks, however, he is prone to "borrowing," and this has earned him a particular enemy in another clan member. No scales off his back, though. She'll get it eventually.
