 Rami, like his sister, inherited his father's weather predicting abilities. Unlike her, however, his is toned down and doesn't affect his life in the same way it does hers. He sees how she suffers and wishes he could take some of her power and help ease her burden, but since he can't he does everything he can to make her life easier.

Some have said the pair might be too close, but being from the same clutch it's not too unusual. And it shows that Rami has empathy for what Lisa is going through instead of being grateful it's not him in that situation. So while most of the actual job falls to their father because Lisa is near useless and Rami spends his time looking after her the clan is fine because the job is still getting done.
