Biography

Original bio (in italics) by Lukra.

When younger, Versiaz was a mild-mannered dragon, vain but easygoing. However, he changed one day, mysteriously becoming convinced that his clan required protection only he could provide. Nobody's quite sure what danger he believes he's saving them from; maybe the Rotclaw that appeared on his body at about the same time has something to do with his newfound paranoia? For the most part, no one really minds him, in any sense of the word -- his constant attempts to regulate outside interaction, strategize, and meticulously plan ahead are typically regarded as somewhere between amusing and annoying, based on who's talking. Every so often, the old Versiaz will shine through again, but these episodes serve only to make his behavior more erratic.

One day, the skydancer woke up in a stranger's home in the middle of the Tangled Wood with no real memory of how he got there. However, the parasite attached to him was also mysteriously gone, so perhaps there is some fortune in this bit of misfortune.

He quickly learned that the Rotclaw had been forcibly removed from him after he moved into the area. Apparently, one of the local alchemists now has it in a jar, though he doesn't care to see if that's true or not.

Honestly, he'd rather stay as far away as possible.

Despite his mind being clearer than it was previously, Versiaz is still mildly prone to suspicion and paranoia. He has somewhat regained his easy-going and vain mannerisms, which makes these bouts easier to deal with, though they can be startling when they pop up.

Another after-effect of his encounter with the Rotclaw is his newly developed germophobia. Versiaz is likely the cleanest dragon around, and his new home is much the same. His constant worry over germs (on other dragons, in the food, on the ground) is probably what annoys his new neighbours more than his brief bouts of paranoia do, especially considering his unwillingness to socialize with any Plague dragons.

It's a wonder he doesn't wear gloves while handling his food.
