These fae dwell in the hottest deserts and savannahs, making their dens deep within caves of canyon walls. Their bodies burn hot to warm their deep, cold caves, but at the expense of overheating if exposed to the extreme heat of the daytime sunlight. They are active throughout the night, but are most notable at Dawn and Dusk when the orange sun reflects from glass particles on their scales. This glass buildup is a byproduct of desert sand grains which melted down on contact with particularly heated sections of their bodies.
