A healer from Plague. Who'da thunk right? But despite his flight origins, Caine is a total sweetheart and very, very gentle with anything and everything. However, if you get on his bad side by, let's say, attacking or threatening his team- and/or clanmates there is very little he won't do to make sure it doesn't happen again. He might not be your stereotypical Plague dragon, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know how to protect those he cares for. He's also adorably protective of Mira, often taking hits for her in their battles, but never really giving a reason why. |
Caine prefers to hide his eyes, and the shame they bring him, along with far too many annoying questions. If he's from Plague, why did he become a healer? Did he not like the reputation? What did his parents and clan do to him to change his calling? Did they hurt him? So many annoying questions, and often none of them relevant to his situation or the previous conversation before interruption. In answer to those questions however, no straight answer has ever been given, aside from the snapped "it was my choice!" when someone had gone too far. Will we ever know the truth? Maybe. |
As much as Caine hates his flight of origin, his element does give him a leg up in healing. Because of his knowledge of plagues, pathogens, and germs, he can diagnose and treat many a medical issue with stunning accuracy. He has a great sense of smell as well, able to pick up on what kind of infection a dragon might have with only a few sniffs. There is a rumor about his abilities, aside from the general Plaguey-ness, that some of the more questionably integral dragons have started circling. They say he is a carrier, of what, it differs from dragon to dragon. But the general consensus seems to indicate that he is a carrier of some kind of plague, and he's just waiting to spread it to all the other dragons in the lair. This is of course preposterous, but the assorted other Plague dragons in the clan do seem to treat him with a sort of reverence that lends to the possibility of at least some sort of truth from this rumor.
