  Cree was born and raised underground, in an expansive city of tunnels. He spent his youth dreaming of a way out, to escape the dim depths and see what was to be experienced in the real world far above.

  A cave-in accident in his early years left him unable to walk, legs crushed beyond repair and lost. It took many years for him to find suitable replacements, and many years more to recover his strength and emotional resilience -- but now he roams the woods of the surface with his mate Sel, free of the tunnels and stronger than ever before.
