Fitzsimmons

"I'm only going to ask you to return that once, Wildstorm," Fitzsimmons said, glancing up at the Spiral half bent over the water. He stomped his foot on the ground, frowning at the tiny splash of mud that stuck to his suit top. "Do return my hat."

Wildstorm balanced her usual helmet on her tail, and held the hat in question between her front claws with a toothy grin. She had it positioned halfway to her head as she leaned on the edge of the bank. "I just want to try it on."

"Try on someone else's hat, I don't want you to ruin mine," Fitzsimmons said, huffing. "And you already had one of your own!"

"But I wanted to see how this one would look," Wildstorm said, popping the tiny hat on her head. She watched her reflection in the water, turning her head this way and that, rather happy with her new apparel. "Bit small, but I think that makes it look better, don't you?"

"Return my hat before you drop it!" Fitzsimmons exclaimed, shoving Wildstorm in the leg with his front claw. The sudden jerk, traveled up the Spirals' body until it hit her head--and the hat fell off to float on the water. Fitzsimmons sighed, "Like that."

Wildstorm fished it out of the pond, and put it back on her head. The little droplets of water ran down the side of his whiskers. "It's fine."

"Wildstorm," Fitzsimmons said, voice full of warning.

The Spiral laughed, and dropped her viking helmet on the Snapper's head. She flicked her tail against Fitzsimmons' mustache. "See? Doesn't that look good with your suit? We should switch all the time."

"Children," Fitzsimmons huffed. He adjusted the helm and counted to ten. Wildstorm would have to give his hat back...eventually. Story by Greyliliy..:)
