____One must be a highly skilled politician to manage the competing desires of all of Ravenbarrow's various thieves' guilds and assassins' associations and maintain the position of their alder. When Ravenbarrow alders leave office, it's not usually by popular vote -- a knife in the back is more common. No alder in living memory has kept the role as long as Wanderer.

Wanderer presents himself as a soft, hedonistic creature who would like nothing more than to lounge on silk pillows all day. However, that lazy facade hides a mind keener than any blade. Wanderer is an expert at managing the many personalities and menaces of Ravenbarrow, balancing the need to protect his shady constituents from the law with the desires of the prince and his fellow council members.

Rumor has it that Wanderer worked his way up through Ravenbarrow's violent hierarchy from street orphan to alder, but the truth of his origins are known to very few. It is said, however, that he has a soft spot for Lukra University as an institution, though no one can find any record of him ever studying there.
