A pair traversing the Reclaimer’s Glacier, laden with an unexpected clutch of eggs, left behind a cracked and pale egg to ease their burden. A moribund hatchling crawled out of it just a day later. It was only by chance that one Wind clan’s scout, on a journey to the Rimebone Stockade, came across the abandoned hatchling half-buried in the snow and rescued it from a bitter, gelid death.

Though the pigment had long since faded from their feathers, the markings of what once was a myriad of colored swirls hadn’t yet bleached away. The pattern left behind was a unique blend of alabaster swirls and lustering dove-grey streaks twisting over their entire body. In a clan inundated by its vibrant, kaleidoscopic dragons, they stood alone. Their distinct allure earned them the name Kallista - “Most Beautiful.”
