Lore: Growing up hearing his father Bergamot's "scary tales", Tho became fascinated by the hidden depths of the seas, as well as the hidden depths of the minds of dragonkind. What was so scary about the unknown? he pondered. Uncertainty is certainly part of the anxiety we feel when we cannot imagine the things that might lurk in the darkness or surprise us when we feel vulnerable. Yet we also feel a sense of curiosity, or perhaps fascination? A desire to explore and expand our knowledge. Tho felt that he had always wanted to hear more, to really understand the "monsters" that were central to these horror-filled tales. How did they live down there, in the depths? Were they alone? Did they have family? Were they in search of food...or maybe friendship? His siblings called him silly for overanalyzing all the little details and missing the bigger picture. But is it not the details that make the story? Tho set out on a journey to discover what lived in the depths so that he might better understand this world...and himself.

Along his journey of discovery, Tho became enamored of a beautiful female Undertide, and together they had three lovely daughters. While the eldest and youngest daughters left to explore the world on their own terms alongside their mother, the middle child - Kelpernia - stayed to travel with her father for some time until she, too, fell in love.
