Apollo is the second child of clan leaders Phoenix and Miles. He is loud and boisterous for a tundra dragon, and quite blunt in his speech. He has a short fuse but his temper always blows over quickly and he doesn't often hold a grudge. He is very close with his twin sibling, Artemis, and though they've had loud and violent arguments and fights before and will do so again, they've always been there for each other and won't let anyone else bully each other. He is very close with Trucy also, though they haven't been family for as long, and lets her get her way more than he lets anyone else.

He's got a big crush on Klavier but is fully in denial about both his own feelings and the possibility that Klavier returns them. He'll get there eventually.
