_ He gives his worst prophecies to his most "devoted" followers. Depending on who you ask, he may be seen as more of a demon than a god. Despite the fact that "Holy Demon" is an oxymoron, many seem to refer to Apollo as such. He represents the sun, light, and spite. That third one is usually where the "demonic" aspect comes in. Many who attempt to invoke his favor oftentimes manage to do the opposite and incur his wrath. Sing his praises or speak ill of him, at the end of the day it doesn't matter. There are several stories telling of the chaos and destruction that Apollo himself caused that Atsuna was actually substituted into.

In recent years those who are associated with the sun are seen as upbeat and positive, always bringing joy to the lives of others. In Apollo's case he seems to represent the "darker" side of the sun. A force that is terrifying and destructive, a light whose power is overwhelming.
