The Moth
The animatronic moth mascot that oversees Kid's Corner. Mortimer was incredibly dedicated to making children happy and protecting them back during The Wonderland Midways glory days, and was easily the most amiable and popular mascot for his friendliness. Parents could safely leave the machine to watch their children if they had to step away for any reason, and he was more than happy to do so. His love of dragonkind was matched only by Midways at the time, and he considered Midway his best friend.
He slept for ages after the disaster, and was surprised rather horrified to suddenly be awake again, and see the state of the park, and his body. He was even more horrified to see the state of the risen Midway. After an... Alright patch job, and some weapons upgrades that frightened him, Mortimer was given his new job.
Destroy outsiders of the park.
No, no! Mortimer pleaded with Midway, tried to talk sense into him, but Midways new godly command over the park overrode the poor Moths programming.
Mortimer has been fighting himself since then, having an internal battle with his attack mode. Trying to wash the blood and dirt from himself in Kid Corners old murky duck pond when he has a handle on himself. And crying a lot. Trying to resist following his new prime directive any further. Destroy.
