第一天，眼睛和嘴胚胎状的雏形长出来了，模糊的陷窝和一堆堆蛋白等待着下一步分化，干细胞如同坐在王座上的创造之母，五花八门的结缔组织和神经组织扎根在肉的裂缝里，把镜子塑造得面目全非。
第二天，带着湿漉漉的高光的新鲜眼球活跃地转来转去，把目力所及之处的所有细节看了个遍；嘴全天大张着，舌头企图卷住能够到的任何东西。
第三天，舌头不经意间碰到了脊背上的眼球，它抚摸着它光滑圆润的表面，并缠绕住它，试图连根拔起。它成功了，眼球就像被拔起的水蛭一样被舌头填进了嘴里。
第四天，昨天丧失的眼球处出现了新的囊泡，于是形成了新的眼球，把目力所及之处的所有细节看了个遍。
第五天，六只黑色的手长出来了，一旦舌头想接近手下的四肢，手就会把它抓住并拉扯，这样舌头就会退回去，而四肢正在进行走路。
