Although she's traveled across Sorneith to reach the freezing floes of the ice domain, Lea can recall barely half of the places she's visited. Most of it is because she was so young, journeying as a hatchling from the wharf where she was born. Still, the place that sticks tenaciously in her memory is one of plateaus covered with wires and copper cables. The Wiretangle Walk. Lea had a bad fright as a hatchling, nearly stepping on an unprotected wire that had been left open air for purposes of speed in laying it down.
Despite the brief moments of fear that she had felt trying to navigate that place, Lea had also met some of the bravest and coolest dragons ever. One was a busy worker bee of a dragon, constantly tired, snapping at others when they reached their limit. But she also remembers their kindness, the way that they ushered hatchlings such as herself along, but in a way not limited to hatchlings but concern towards every dragon. Lea remembers the sound of generators, roaring at every hour of the day and night except for a brief mandated break when there was dead silence in the area around her. Now, though she has much more peace while sleeping, she swears sometimes she can still hear the crackling of storms revving generators to life. If given the chance, she would return to the Wiretangle despite the dangers. And one day, she may make that trip. Not today though.
