Venndarien

Fae princeling.

Born in Kaiator to Zenika the librarian and Carnivale the hobo poet. As a hatchling, he fell through a portal to the fae realm. (This kind of thing happens more often than one might expect. Kaiator is located at a confluence of interdimensional ley lines; it's how we have contact with Sornieth, but also how the Argon invasion began.)

When he disappeared, his parents searched frantically for him, but from the start they suspected that he left of his own accord. Dragon hatchlings reach an age of independence quickly, and Venndarien was always more independent than most. So when his parents' search efforts proved fruitless, they hoped he had simply chosen to seek happiness elsewhere.

They were partially right. Venndarien fell through the portal by accident, but he was determined to make the most of it. A new world. New horizons to make his own.
