In Unova mythology, there were two brothers who wanted to create a perfect world. They began to feud over whose concept was the right one to follow, leading to a massive amount of chaos for the region. Reshiram sided with the older brother who sought the truth. The younger brother who sought ideas sided with Zecrom. As a result, Reshiram firmly believes in truth. According to one myth, Reshiram is said to burn down kingdoms of people who ignore truth due to being consumed by greed.
