"I think Maimai likes you more." Katarina enters the bedroom with two mugs on hand. One is filled with tea, the other with hot chocolate. On the bed, Maimai is rolling around like a cat being played with, Leilana's paw playfully swatting at the little gaoler's face. The scent of the umber colored drink makes Maimai's ears perk up, and he immediately runs to the edge of the bed, tail wagging like a happy, yappy puppy. "I think you spoke too soon." The flowery lesbian hands the first mug to Maimai as she sinks on top of the duvets. The second one she hands to her gamer girl girlfriend, who takes it with a quiet thanks. Katarina watches the two as they start to drink. Maimai's eyes brighten at his first sip and will a squeal of delight, he yells out, "Delicious!" Leilana boops his nose. Katarina puts her paw on her chin and leans against it. She's thinking of something. "Lei, what does growing old mean to you?" Leilana looks at her partner. She takes another sip of her tea, seemingly contemplating on the random question her very random girlfriend asked. She tilts her head a little and does her thinking face. Katarina would tell her she's cute if she plans on distracting Leilana. She does not. "Growing old... I'd probably be spending most of my time in the cottage cooking for the clan and playing my games." Katarina sits properly. "Do you see me in your future? How do I come in play?" She looks very curious. Leilana likes when Katarina gets this way, she thinks it's very endearing. "Of course I do." The tea is calming and it soothes Leilana's nerves. The robin gaoler feels relaxed. She's not on guard. She never is, not when Katarina is around. She taps the mug with a claw, and her reflection on the tea becomes a blur. Her eyes doesn't leave it when she speaks. "I really enjoy talking to you, I enjoy our conversations a lot. I was not expecting to fall as hard into love as I did." Katarina's eyes go soft. "I feel the same way," she says with a blush. "And then it's like! I miss you even when I'm sleeping! I've never really been in love before." Leilana continues on, oblivious of the pink of Katarina's cheeks spreading to her neck. "Please understand that I love you very much and that you are more than enough for me, I am very happy even knowing you. I always crave for physical touch with you, I want to lean against you, to cuddle with you, to... Why are you looking at me like that?" Katarina's entire face is red now. She crawls nearer and lays her head on Leilana's lap, her eyes dreamy as she looks into the eyes of the other. Leilana flusters. She doesn't really smile when flustered; you can see it in her eyes. "I don't think I could ask for a better girlfriend all things considered," Leilana says. The breeze blows into the room and the chimes made by the three hanging on the window does a lovely clanging. Leilana sees the gears in Katarina's mind work. Katarina holds Leilana's face "I will say it as many times as you want to hear it, you have my love and my love only." The breeze stops, and the birds chirp. "I feel the same way. I am yours for as long as you'll have me." Something moves on the bed. The lovers look to see Maimai kicking his feet with his eyes closed. "Butterfly... Don't go..." he sleepily mumbles. Leilana and Katarina look at each other and laugh. Leilana hushes Katarina despite laughing along with her. Katarina gives a huff, and she pulls down Leilana for a nose boop. Leilana was quick enough to set aside the tea on the nightstand so it doesn't spill. When their faces part, the two smile. Leilana leans against the headboard and pets Katarina's rose-colored hair. "Yours as well. Always and forever, my love." |

Lirim A fellow phthalo dragon, Lirim caught Calfuray’s heart since the day the latter laid eyes on him. The unexpected guest offered flowers to the cottage caretaker, and the caretaker swore that he would give him the world and more. Lirim wears Calfuray’s collar, a promise and an oath that nothing in the Sornieth would take him away from Calfuray, and vice versa. Lirim and Calfuray share a cottage with Ashitaka, Vireo, and Amiabel. |
