He spends every night head back, eyes up, staring for hours at a time. Starset, they call him, for he gives no other name, no indication of his innermost truths. He speaks in riddles and strange prose, fishing for meaning in every stray metaphor and constantly rambling of divine insight and the machinations of fate.
Starset claims he listens for a great foretelling - a prophecy for which he has waited for a time untold, more important than any stray twinkle in the night sky. He listens to the cosmos and reads every glimmer of the stars as if eavesdropping on some grand scheme beyond, waiting for that perfect whisper, the one omen to reveal all. What that entails, exactly, has remained as mysterious as he.
