Biography
This dragon was killed in a nuzlocke, but seeing as they are my progenitor, it does not benefit me any to exalt them, and I will use them as a trainer for my level fodder.

Vecna the Huntress
└──────── •✧• ────────┘
Shield of the Estrāy Tribe
Vecna once traveled in an ever shifting pack of her own kind. She was known for her hunting skills, taking down prey larger than herself at times. However, her bold tactics often left her injured. At some points injured enough that the group would leave her behind while they pressed onwards. She’d usually catch up with them in a few days, or join a new group to hunt with for a while. Where or who she hunted with didn’t matter. She lived for the chase. After a particularly gnarly hunt, she wound up with a large wound covering her left flank, making it so she couldn’t keep up with her current group. They went on without her as she rested up, hunting smaller prey than usual while she recovered. She wandered the outskirts of the Viridian Labyrinth, about ready to move on and find another group, when she encountered something strange. A Fae dragon, all on his lonesome. He looked worse for wear. Her curiosity soon turned into a feral protectiveness over this little lost Fae, and she escorted him around - much to his confusion. They didn’t speak much. She was never much for words, and he seemed to struggle with them - instead using his large head fins and soft chittering as though she were another Fae. But they found after a while that words weren’t everything, and they became close. He’d ride on her shoulder as they trekked through the Labyrinth, stopping to hunt insects or small prey as it became available. The two became mates, and would soon gather a number of other strange dragons who’d wandered away form their homes. Vecna was the protector of all of them, but Thistle the most. She trained pair of Wildclaws who’d joined them, and she put up with the others. She had no interest in inter-tribe relationships, and set herself as the Tribe’s silent protector - its Shield. When her mate died in a supply run - one she had been leading nonetheless - she was grief stricken. Not only had she failed to protect her mate, one of the Wildclaws had died on her watch as well. She threw herself at her work, becoming stronger no matter the cost. She would protect this tribe and see them to their destination… Somewhere deep in the Shrieking Wilds where her dear mate thought they’d be safe from other Flights… She became the fiercest defender of the Tribe, and for most of the journey it would stay that way. She became closer and closer with Lace - the Wildclaw who'd also lost her mate in the supply run. Vecna and Lace considered becoming mates themselves, but they would never have the chance. After returning from harsh battle training - where Lace had injured herself critically, they found that their makeshift nursery was under attack. Lady Olivia's hatchlings were in danger. Lace refused to think of herself in that moment, but Vecna swore they would retreat if it would cost Lace her life. But it was not Lace's life who would be taken unexpectedly in that battle, it was Vecna herself. She died protecting those hatchlings from harm. And that's probably the way she would have wanted it.
