Androcles

Androcles is the male founder of the clan. He and Madison were born in the Earth flight under strange circumstances, and raised by adoptive parents as hatchlings; they came to find each other through being brought to many group rituals and festivals. Years later, their first real meeting at Rockstock (a popular stone instrument-based musical festival held in the summer months) jumpstarted Madison's crusade towards her idyllic dream of sweet, teenage freedom, and Androcles hung on for the ride, madly in love with her.

In the case of this couple, it is far, far away from the 'opposites attract' kind of relationship. Androcles is just as aggressive and determined as Madison, but he channels this into being passive. He is the king of passive aggression, avoiding direct confrontation, wearing a mask, and baiting his foe into making him hit back. (And he hits back hard with Contuse!) He also passive aggressively loves Madison, leaving her notes and gifts, and rarely speaking a word to her. She absolutely adores this. He absolutely adores her brash nature. They have gotten along very well.

A long time ago, he parented a handful of dragons, both with and without Madison; his passive aggression makes him an atrocious parent, and his now grown kids keep their distance from him. No one knows his real attitude towards his closest son, Fafnir, and he hasn't really spoken to his other, recently reunited son, Auberon.

His hobbies include sitting silently next to his similarly quiet nameless familiars, supporting Madison (whose strength has eclipsed his own battle prowess completely) from the sidelines, and spending downtime chilling out in the colder cavern chambers, which he designed for maximum comfort for dark colored or fuzzy dragons who need a break from the heat.
