Sylvie

With the departure of Asphodel to the Gladekeeper, the hatchlings of Roseden were left without designated Caretaker. this role was so graciously filled by Sylvie. her dreams of having Hatchlings of her own made her the perfect candidate. With no other Veilspun members in Roseden Sylvie felt there was no hope for her dreams ever becoming reality. She would tend to her berries in solitude every day once the hatchlings were fed and cared for. Over and over her routine was never ending. Until the day of the big feast. Not but a few knew what the Feast was being held for, but none would turn down the invitation from Naten. As she Arrived she Spotted a dragon she'd never seen before. The most magnificent Veilspun male. With a dull body of dusty brown but the greenest wings she had ever seen. flecks of what looked like fairy dust rested gently upon the dragons wingtips and caressed his curves gently. Her awe must have shown on her, as that very same dragon met her eyes gaze almost instantly. Scrambling to the nearest chair to him available, she ended up a seat over from directly in front of this beautiful specimen. He reminded her of the flowers she tended and kept barely alive. Naten stood at the end of the sprawling table prompting the room to go silent. "my dear roseden" naten bellowed with his character smile on his face, "tonight we celebrate the arrival of a kindred soul from the Gladekeepers lands!" the dragon then stands up as prompted by Naten "You may all call me Pollen" said the marvelous newcomer. -Pollen- the name rang in Sylvies head. That was the name of her suitor. "Pollen here has come to Stay at Rosden for a few days between his journeys." -only a few days!!- thought Sylvie. that wouldn't do. she had to get to know this stranger and find a way to make him stay with her.
Within the next days she would make every moment count. Whenever possible she got to know Pollen and fell deeper and deeper in love with him every word he spoke. Pollen was a man of many, yet few words. He told stories of his travels and what he had seen and done, but rarely spoke of himself or his past. By the end of the days he was meant to stay, pollen had requested that Naten make him and official member of Roseden and that he be Forever linked with his beloved Sylvie. The request was granted and Pollen became a Roseden dragon. Sylvie was overjoyed With Pollens staying. They soon had a brood of three lovely little hatchlings.
