It is uncertain when and how Cordyceps became infected. All anyone knows is that he went forgaging one day and came back as normal, then several days later he came down with a terrible sickness that opened up holes in his body, where now a putrid stench and fungal secreations leak from. During this time, blood crystals formed on his wings, leaving him grounded, and caught Skin Rot from Morrighan in his weak state. Luckily, it only affected a small area, but he must keep himself covered at all times regardless.
