Biography

Lanatus
Up with the Fruits

───────────────

"Hmph. Just take a look."

Lanatus wishes to continue on with his farm. Nothing more to it than that. Well, his visitors can at least remember to ask him before helping themselves to his fruits...

───────────────

Watermelon
Lanatus is a stern figure in a community that he willingly participates in. Despite how cold he seems, though, he seems more like snow than ice when he has time to himself in the farm, where he tends to fruits with more delicacy than expected. It is similar to how he treats those whom he considers decent peers, if not friends. And no matter how many long-suffering sighs he makes, he is willing to sit down with a hatchling to show them how to properly harvest an easy fruit for an hour. Emphasis on an hour.

The firstborn of Swecker and Myrtle's first nest together, Lanatus was a bit on the dour side more often than not. He obligingly cared for his siblings, but he wandered off by himself and stayed in place so frequently that he was dubbed brooder before his adolescent years. It was by chance that he was discovered with his plants, keeping the juicy harvest to himself. After much cajoling, he finally did his farming in plain sight, raising a brow whenever somebody eyed the fruits of his labor for too long. Slowly but surely, he connected with his peers and, dare on say it, made friends.

The reason why Lanatus has been considering moving isn't due to lack of greener pastures. It is because he is much like the crops he raises: he is a Wind dragon, and he wants to move with it too. This is why he now moves inland to find a new place to settle down at, where he can cultivate a new stretch of arable land in a familiar yet new region.
