Aurel

Aurel started out wandering Sorenith with her family-her father, her mother, and her nature dragon older brother named Apocalypse, who was a wildclaw/skydancer hybrid-until lightning struck her family's camp and everyone else (at least, Aurel assumed so) but her died. From there, she made her way to the Astrolodome.

In the Astrolodome, Aurel learned to be sneaky and to steal things while other dragons aren't looking. For the next year of her life, Aurel lurked around the massive city of magic-users, astronomers, and others. In her adventures though the city she came across many enchanted tools that she now always has on her today. Often, she had run-ins with other thieves that thought that they could take her because she was just a child. They were wrong. this morphed her into the skilled assassin that she is today.

One day, she tried to steal from a water fae whose scales resembled storm clouds made of chunks of the night sky. Somehow, the fae knew what she was doing and instead of being violent, was concerned for the little orphan thief, asking where her parents were. After Aurel told her, the fae introduced herself as Nyxstorm, and said she was a leader of a clan not too far from there, called Spectre Cove. Nyxstorm took Aurel under her wing as a daughter and Aurel found herself a clan. Oftentimes, she hung out with a nervous nature skydancer with shimmering-almost crystalline-pale purple fur named Kunzite. Even with all the plants tangled around him, Aurel felt he looked familiar, but couldn't put a claw on why.

it wasn't until one night 10 years later that she discovered why. The pair were messing around in the forest when Kunzite told Aurel that his name used to be Apocalypse. Aurel responded by telling him that her brother had the same name and, now that she thought about it, had looked like him as well. Startled by this, Kunzite told her that his sister-who he'd believed to be dead for a while now-had looked strangely similar to Aurel. After a bit of talking about more details about their families that turned out to be suspiciously similar to each other, it became obvious there was absolutely no chance that they weren't siblings.

as time rolled on, Aurel went along with life as normal, working as a rather successful assassin. One day, however, she noticed her brother seemed more tired and twitchy than usual.
