MATHGAMAIN God of Sea Storms

On Sornieth's north sea lies a bulwark of merciless storms which has been impassable for centuries; swallowing even the bravest voyagers into whorls of galvanic clouds, casting them into the water as if alive and intolerant of dragonkind's nerve.

On the tempest's wind comes a primordial myth, told only by those who stay patiently on the shore and listen to the thunder. A mortal pearlcatcher wed to the sea, blessed with godhood by her caress, damned to an aeon of loneliness when she was drowned for such transgressions. A wrathful self replaces him, subsisting on her memory, roaring and thrashing wildly over his lover's grave.

The resolution has yet to be heard.
