Biography

tree frog

close friends with a toad but they refer eachother as brothers

Grunden was a tiny little thing when he was born, his tiny egg layed balanced on a plant hanging over a shallowish pond. waking up for the first time, grunden blinked curiously and weakly looked around, before he knew it he was slowly sliding down the plant and into the pond. He wasn't the only one that was born that day, he could see lots of tadpoles swim around in the pond and at first he had so many questions but came to the conclusion that they were his siblings. The other tadpoles didn't seem to need food for the first day but grunden was different and hungry he lasted the day and watched how they got food and learned and copied them feeding off of protein in the pond and eating little ants to keep him satisfied, he liked to sit outside of the water and gently paw at the tadpoles most of the time but his curiosity for the world only grew stronger everyday.
As the other frogs, surprisingly quickly, grew up a bit grunden watched as they learned how to stick onto trees and plants, he tried to do it himself but his hands weren't as sticky but he was determined, he practiced for a few days and tried doing things like putting sticky pollen or honey of some sort on his hands and then one day he finally did it, Well at least he thought he did, he was excited to finally accomplish this and be like his frog siblings until he felt something on his back -- flapping? He felt a mix of emotions when he found out he could fly, shocked confused curious excited, he wasn't sure what to feel but he practiced his flying, only being able to fly low to the ground or close to something like a tree for a while, he loved his wings but didn't use them much as he wanted to be more like his frog siblings.
One day as grunden was looking around, and doing what he usually does he noticed a semi big (well quite big for a normal toad) toad like creature, he had wings and sorta looked like him, he continued to trot out of grundens sight so grunden immediately went to follow him, curious since he doesn't quite look like all the other frogs, he hoped he didn't lose him and flapped/walked through big grass anf leaves to get to him, then he got to a small little circle patch with no grass and a puddle with a log and a pile of leaves. Grunden looked around for the toad shouting softly and curiously "hellooo?" Then grunden spotted the toad like dragon, he was "camouflaged" in the pile of leaves, now that grunden has a better look the toad wasn't too good at hiding, the toad was much to big for the pile which made it seem silly to grunden, making him smile, he wasn't sure how he didn't see him before, he let out a little chuckle before curiously saying hi and greeting him in a friendly tone and manner
The toad was the chillest dragon he's ever met, he hasn't met much other dragons but he was sure there was no one more mellow then the toad, "so what's your name ?" Asked grunden. The guardian looked around a moment as if he was either thinking or his mind went blank, grunden wasn't sure, before returning back to his mellow smile and resting position saying in a soothing tone "I have nooo idea". "What's yours?" He asked, grunden paused for a moment and shrugged unsure of what to call himself. They continued to talk and grunden asked the toad loads of questions, they became very good friends and would meet up to hangout and play for a while.
One day when grunden was going to find him to play and talk with him, he found him packing a few things and he got a bit worried, "what are you doing toad?" He said in his same curious tone but this time with a hint of worry. "I have to go now, to travel, this isn't my home" he sounded so wise to grunden but grunden was afraid of loosing his best friend. "Well I'm coming with you !" Grunden said quickly, the toad smiled and nodded quickly, "are you sure" he asked, grunden thought for a moment and gave him a firm nod. "We'll leave in the morning then :3" the toad said have you ever been traveling? Grunden shook his head
