Phineas

Phineas came to a sudden stop after leaving the previous clan. In all of his haste to leave them, he didn't really think about where he was running to. It wasn't like he had a map or anything to tell him where he was. And he didn't know anyone, so it wasn't like he could stop and ask for directions. He'd always heard that Sornieth was a "broad, colorful and varied" world, but so far in his travels, he hadn't seen any of that. The world was wide, sure, but he had yet to see thousands and thousands of dragons. Where they all hiding? And if so, from what? In his retreat from the shoreline, Phineas found himself lost in the Driftwood Drag, a small region of the Tangled Wood. He leaned against an overly large tree stump, and lulled off to sleep.

He awoke to see thousands of deep-purple eyes on him, and was shocked to see that it was only two dragons staring down at him. An irritated Wildclaw, by the name of Knight, and his intriguing noodle friend, Six. Six was the patient one of the two, and she seemed overly quiet. The three stared at each other for what felt like hours before anyone spoke-- of course, it was Knight that broke the silence. "You don't want to be on this beach come nightfall. That's when the Creatures come out." He paused, looking around Phineas's small 'camp'. He gave him an odd look... was it...pity?. "You had best come with us if you want to survive the night in one piece." "What do we call you?" Six asked, her voice barely heard over the rustling of the leaves in the breeze. "Uh... Phin. My name is Phineas, but please, call my Phin. 'P-h'-i-n."

The light breeze suddenly turned harsher, and the cloud darkened instantly. "Come, now" Knight boomed, grabbing Six's little arms and yanking her into his arms.

Phin trailed after the two, keeping a slight distance between them, while they seemed relatively harmless, it was only in a way that made him feel they wouldn't harm him. It was clear that Knight was a Hunter in whatever clan they hailed from. He couldn't tell what Six's role was, and frankly, he didn't think he'd get the chance. Knight was far too protective over her.

They reached the clan's smaller campsite, where a various collection of dragons were huddled around a tiny fire. He was no outdoors' expert, but he was sure that they wouldn't be able to cook anything on that fire. They welcomed Phin, but it was made clear that it was only a temporary thing for him. .
