Mistwalker

Right in front of you, you'll see a strange-looking door. It's coloured a pastel purple, although you can't quite discern what it's made from. It's littered with nicks and scratches, seemingly worn down from years of use. You almost think you see a mist pouring from some of the deeper scratches, but when you blink nothing is there...

You don't know what it is. Maybe it's the strange colour, or the story it seems to tell with the scars that litter it's surface, or maybe even just the mystery that seems to surround it. But you do know it seems to call to you. And so you enter the second door.

Immediately, upon doing so, you're blinded by a violet-tinted mist, that seems to dance into your vision and refuses to leave. Spinning around you'll find that the strange door is already gone, replaced solely with more of the mist. It seems that now, the only way out is onwards. And so onwards you go. You traverse the abyss that seems to span as far as the eye can see. Until eventually, you catch a glimpse. Of what, you're not sure, but whether for curiosity's sake or just to get out of here you know, somehow, that you need to follow it. So you do. You lose it in the mist, but a few moments later you see it again, farther away. And so you give chase. You continue like this for a while, with whatever, or whoever, this is seemingly dancing around you, and you trying to catch them. Eventually, though, you both come to a stop, and finally, the thing you were chasing emerges from the mist. They seem to study you for a moment, before letting a small smile appear on their face.

"Hello," They seem to say, although their mouth never opens. "Would you mind if I joined you? You seem interesting, and the abyss grows boring. And I believe I may know a way out."
